SV’s Service Site Approved mark (SSA) can apply to any service organization, from national NGO to small local organizations, that has been approved by SV as eligible to recruit student volunteers through studentvolunteer.com. SSA status also marks organizations for which students may volunteer and get credit for SVF Scholarship and Grant purposes. Its purpose is to ensure that students do not take advantage of the system by lying about their volunteering hours. It also protects students from anyone who might try to fabricate service opportunities to lure students into unsafe environments. Student groups who sign up to have their school and community service recorded will need an adult advisor or administrator also registered to be Service Site Approved. The SSA mark will also be made available to all approved organizations to put on their website and will also provide a link to SV.

"SVF and Campus Compact helped Central Lakes College have an impact in the elections, and really made students feel like their voices mattered."
Erich Heppner

"SVF closes the engagement gap to combat the achievement gap."
Joann Knuth - Executive Director, Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals

WELCOME TO THE BETA-TEST OF STUDENTVOLUNTEER.COM™

One day, this will all be yours.

Just kidding; it already is! You have been recruited as an official tester of our "Beta" website. Beta is just a funny word that means we are fully aware that you may encounter some problems with our website-in other words, this is a "testing" period.

PLEASE give us your feedback. Sticks and stones may break your computer, but it won't fix anything unless you tell us. To report a problem, make a creative suggestion, or to tell us you really really really like us, just click the bug symbol or to do so.

Enjoy the site and have fun-we're glad you're here.
